    • Hi Todd,

Your glass is 38″ wide with a few inches of cardboard roll on each side. I made this cabinet 48″ wide, which is a few inches wider than the one I was using before. It’s about 10″ deep and the height is clearly dependent on how many rolls of glass you want to have inside. This cabinet is taller than my other one by about a foot since I’ll be using kevlar and CF in some upcoming layups, plus I wanted a wider/deeper cutting table.

I used just some nicer scrap plywood I had to make the sides with a 1/4″ flooring back panel I picked up at Lowes/HD. Screwed the box together and mounted the back by shooting the parameter with 1″ brads from a finish nail gun. The cutting table hinge is a 48″ wide piano hinge and the cutting table support legs are simply 2×4’s attached to a 3/4″ ply strip with small standard hinges. I did router the to corner edges of the table so they would be smooth.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more info!

      Good luck & cheers!
      Wade
